Òbí is one of the most essential elements that we use in isese yoruba Spirituality.  We use it to appeal to Oriṣas, and to communicate with Oriṣas within the Yoruba Spiritual tradition (Isese). We also use Òbí to consult with certain Oriṣas, like:
IFA ORI OSUN YEMOJA OGUN EGBE OYA Etc
 
Òbí is used mostly for rituals conducted in the Yoruba religious system.  Most of the time, we use it to connect to the energies of the Oriṣas, to implement Aṣẹ on on the prayer.  More importantly, Òbí  is for the use of priest/priestess and other Yoruba traditional rulers only.  So please consult your spiritual advisors before use.  Overall, all Yoruba African Traditional  Religion practitioners use it.
 
We have different Òbí in Yoruba land.  There are: Òbí abataÒbí ipaÒbí ifinÒbí gbanjaHowever, we use Òbí abata to feed Oriṣas and consult.
